This workshop will review the case of Jerman vs. Carlisle which is one of the few FDCPA cases considered by the U.S. Supreme Court. After the Supreme Court returned the case to the trial court for further proceedings, the trial judge awarded no monetary damages and the case is currently on appeal on that issue.
